Terms of Trade

The following terms of trade are set to be informative, clear and fair. We believe it is imperative to operate in an open and customer friendly manner. By the use of our service you agree to abide by out terms of trade.

Our office is open Monday-Friday 9.00 a.m. to 4.45 p.m. and is operated by professional, competent and above all friendly colleagues who are ready to help. In the event that the offices are at any time unoccupied an out-of-hours telephone answering machine is in operation. It is our intention to return your call within the same working day, other than at the weekend when calls will be returned on a Monday morning.

Our telephone order service is second to none, and it is our aim to process orders within 24 hours. Any delivery discrepancies must be notified within 7 days of Invoice to LBF Trade Ltd.

We have a minimum order value of £30.00 excluding VAT and Postage and Packaging Charges.

All Invoices are due on presentation unless by prior agreement with LBF Trade Ltd. Failure to pay within 10 days may result in legal action for recovery being taken without any further warning.

In the case of pre-approved account holders payment is due at the latest by 30 days from the date of Invoice. Once again failure to pay an invoice within this term may result in legal action for recovery without any further notice.

All goods remain the property of LBF Trade ltd until payment has been made in full.

Acceleration Clause:

If a customer defaults in meeting the payment terms as above any subsequent invoice issued becomes due and payable with immediate effect from the time of the default.

We have a minimum post and packing charge of £5.50 for parcels/packages sent by Royal Mail and a minimum charge of £10.00 for parcels/packages sent by courier. The decision to use the Royal Mail or Courier is based on weight and value of the goods to be sent and to ensure the lowest possible charge is made to the customer.

Account Terms:

Customers wishing to establish a credit account should initially make a written application containing two trade references. Full details of our account terms will be provided on request if an account is agreed

Customer Service

On receipts of your order please notify us straight away (Tel No. 01493 754000 or emai info@lbftrade.com) of any problems so that we are able to promptly rectify them. We pride ourselves on the quality of our products so we are pleased to offer a 30 day replacement service for any product found to be defective, from the date of the order/invoice.
